Volunteer for GAZeL Committees

If you are looking for opportunities to volunteer, look here. We are looking for volunteers for the Membership Committee, Conference 2009 committee, and Newsletter committee. Thanks for your help.

 

The Website Committee will be responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the Gazel Website and database.

 

The Events Committee will develop an annual events plan, and plan and coordinate events such as networking events, membership meetings, conferences, trade shows, educational events, and product demonstrations.

 

The Marketing and PR Committee will develop and implement marketing and PR strategies to promote GAZeL, GAZeL initiatives, eLearning and the eLearning industry to providers and consumers of eLearning. The strategy may include: branding for GAZeL; developing the GAZeL “message”; developing a flyer/brochure; working with the web site committee to develop web site content and; coordinating the GAZeL Insights! newsletters. They would also manage media relations, press releases, news stories, TV or Radio interviews, PR events, articles for other newsletters for other organizations, speaking engagements, etc

 

The Membership Committee will recruit GAZeL members/associates. The committee should design the membership program, including membership fees, and differentiate benefits and services provided for paying members that are not provided for the general public.

 

The Fundraising Committee will be responsible for working with the Board to design and implement a fund raising strategy to support GAZeL operations and initiatives.

 

The Research Committee will enable Arizona eLearning companies and practioners keep informed about, and have access to recent research relevant to elearning and advancing eLearning technologies and services. The Committee will provide a central depository for those interested in advancing eLearning technologies and services; encourage and promote research in areas related to technology-enabled learning, write proposals and foster inter-institutional studies, projects, programs, and other forms of collaboration; be responsive to changes in technology that affect learning; and contribute to Arizona's growing understanding about technology-enabled learning and its promises for the future.
