Agenda:
June Network Meeting progress discussion – Bobbie: We need more people to sign up in both Phoenix & Tucson. Joel and Steve will take care of the technology between Tucson and Phoenix
Sept. 27th Conference Update – Steve Peters Presented 2 possible models. Normal or Summit/Round Table
Steve used last week's ATIC conference Summit/Round Table as an example.. It was successfully used there as a method to engage more key people.
Discussion ensued and most of the Board comments seemed to be in favor of trying something new. Since this might impact the number of attendees, it was discussed how many we need to pay our costs and it seemed that would probably be taken care of with either method.
Research Committee – Maggie Set time for next Committee meeting and invited more Board members to attend. This is at 10:00 noon on Friday, June 1, 2007 at ITT in Phoenix and U of A in Tucson
Membership Dues Intro Strategy – Sheri: We are dependent upon when the Portal is up and functional. Then we need a marketing push. Sheri will meet with the Portal Committee May 29th.
Portal Update and Marketing
Marketing: Jerry New Logo being finished.
Portal: Kelley Wants Board Members to start using and testing the Portal at www.gazel.us. Things are moving along pretty well. Wants to do a beta launch on Thursday 24th. Kelley thanked Jerry & his associate RG for their work & logo.
