Don't miss this demonstration and tour of the amazing ASU Decision Theater hosted by the Greater Arizona eLearning Association. Sign-up today - attendance is limited to the first 20 people to register.
The Decision Theater is a world-class decision lab that’s open to policy-makers, businesses, community groups, researchers, and students. The immersive, interactive environment provides tools for collaborative scenario planning and exploration of uncertain systems. Three faculty members and the director of the Decision Theater provide a glimpse of how the Decision Theater at Arizona State University is changing the way people arrive at better decisions.
After-Action Report
We visited the Decision Theater’s main feature called “the Drum,” a 260-degree faceted screen that can display panoramic computer graphics and 3D video content. Decision Theater also offers a variety of tools and technologies to facilitate participant feedback and interaction. The cutting-edge technologies in Decision Theater allow researchers and policymakers to use sophisticated modeling applications to visualize current conditions as well as the potential consequences of change. for example, visualizing future scenarios enables decision-makers to make better, well-informed decisions
